On 7–8 November, part of the FOOD+i team will take part in Expo Sagris, the new fair held at IFEMA Madrid that will bring together companies, producers, and organisations from the primary sector to discuss innovation, sustainability, and the rural future.

On August 26–27, 2025, the city of Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden became a vibrant hub for future food innovation. Hosted by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden , the two-day national conference gathered leading voices from academia, industry, policy and innovation to explore the transformative potential of precision fermentation and biotechnology for the food sector.

The DELICIOUS project, funded by Horizon Europe, aims to create sustainable, plant-based dairy alternatives using microbial fermentation and innovation, with 17 partners across 9 countries.
